The quality of our relationships determines the quality of our lives.” Esther Perel

We show up in our relationships with an inherited relational template and an implicit expectation that others share our ideas and understanding of how a relationship should operate.

The parts of you that were created in your family of origin, in school, in your early life friendships and romantic relationships all play a part in how you understand yourself now, both individually and relationally.

My role as a couples therapist is to help you identify the roles that you are both currently playing that keep you stuck in patterns leading you away from the type of relationship you truly want.

Our work will focus on increasing relational self awareness and creating the kind of conversations and skills that will foster your ability to nurture connection and intimacy in the long-term.
