About me

My approach is warm, compassionate and collaborative. I am gentle yet direct and believe that authenticity and intuitive use of humour can help to make the journey a little bit lighter.

I have a passion for helping people navigate their relationships with themselves and others. I focus on both exploration and collaboration as we work toward increasing awareness and discovering new options that make sense to you and offer you a greater feeling of clarity and contentment.

My work in mental health spans over 25 years and includes work as a Counsellor and Registered Psychiatric Nurse, supporting the mental wellness of people in hospital, community settings and the non-profit sector.

As well as my training and professional background, I am a spouse of 28 years and the mother of three young adult daughters. Being a partner and parent has offered me a deep understanding of relationship and parenting dynamics.

I am a Registered Therapeutic Counsellor with the Association of Cooperative Counselling Therapists of Canada (ACCT).

I hold active registration as a Registered Psychiatric Nurse with BCCNM.
